The aim of this course is to enable the student to design and illustrate their own dynamic concept figures. The course covers basic technical aspects such as positioning a character in space, giving them an unique body shape and lighting them correctly.
There are also character design elements that will enable the student to make individual and unique characters with personality.
When the student has finished the course, they will have both drawing and design skills that will help them to create their own characters and be able to draw them from any angle. They will also have a character model sheet and splash page which are industry standard for the creation of concept art, comic books, animation and games.
