Fresh out of the mold "Strange New Dialogue" by Scott Breton

Yesterday I finally took the first plaster cast of a new sculpture out of the mold.  The model, Lisa, was at 27 weeks when we began working from her, and she sat for us, in total, for an impressive 45 hours.  Needless to say, her belly changed significantly during weeks we were working from her.  This sculpture represents somewhere around the middle of that time.

It took a long time to finish the clay modeling and even longer (it seemed) to cast, but here she is:
